Geocache Description:

Small plastic container please bring own pen

The owner is aware of this container and has helped to construct it, so if you see him his name is Colin, please have a chat with him, he is a very interesting chap with many stories to tell

This dinghy was bought in 1960 by Colin and Chris, two brothers that lived in Betties Bay just past Gordons Bay.

Chris and Colin used this dinghy to fish all over the Cape Peninsula.

During 1985 the dinghy was moved to Britannia Bay and has fished there till end of 2012 when Chris passed away.

This dinghy was skipped by Colin and when Chris passed away in 2012 Colin also desided to call it quits and retire from fishing

This dinghy has finished off 8 outboard motors over the past 50 years. The outboard motors was first a 20HP, then a 25HP, then after he dumped that motor he got a 5HP motor, when taht packed up he got a 25HP and another of the same make, then the dinghy went through 2x 18HP and a 1.30HP

Since the passing of Chris and 50 years of fishing, Chris decided to pack up fishing and put dinghy to rest.

R.I.P.
