Geocache Description:

The 5th annual geocaching event sponsored by Argyle, & Yarmouth Recreation, Municipality of Argyle, Municipality of Yarmouth, and the Town of Yarmouth. The Recreation Departments are promoting this event as a healthy activity and are providing snacks for the event.

This years event will be at Le Village historique acadien de la Nouvelle-Écosse, in West Pubnico. This historic site invites you to learn about the Acadians of Nova Scotia and how this unique and colourful culture survived the Deportation of 1755 to continue to thrive to this day. the Village has waived the price of admission for those attending the geocaching event. Staff at the museum are looking at supplying a lunch on that day. A menu and prices to follow. For those of you who have not cached in this area , not far from the Village are a number of windmills , each of which has a cache not far from it.
