Lake Lisbet Living Traditional Cache

This cache is just outside a gated community called Estates at Wellington Green. The entrance driveway is off a roundabout on Wellington Green Dr. Parking is on the right when you drive in, prior to the gated access. There may be some muggles in the office area. At the office are public bathrooms and a drinking fountain. Cache approval from Community Manager Jessica Ochoa.

Lake Lisbet was created in 2000 as part of the land development of the area which included constructing the Estates community and the Mall at Wellington Green in 2001. This whole area all used to be swamp land of course, and this spot was first developed into farmland in the 1950's. Some of the land (from this spot to Forest Hill Blvd) was returned to a natural state from the 1960's until the late 1990's when it was cleared again. Im not sure the depth of Lake Lisbet. The lake has some nice sized bass and two alligators. Fishing, swimming, and boating are not allowed.
