
This hidden-in-plain sight cache can be found near the Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park Nature Center, and is hanging out with its bigger friends. Park in the Nature Center parking lot and bring your own pen to sign the log.
A rock isn’t always just a rock. There can be history hidden in the rocks in the form of fossils. Fossils are clues to plants or animals that lived here a long, long time ago that have been preserved in the rocks. Can you spot any fossils hidden in the rock garden?
To participate in the Metro Parks GeoTrail go to www.metroparks.net to find complete instructions. Download and print the GeoTrail page and complete at least 15 GeoTrail caches. As you find the caches fill in the cache clues on the GeoTrail page. You will need all 20 clues to complete the puzzle and unlock the coordinates of the Bonus Puzzle cache.
Mark your calendar for the GeoTrail Celebration on September 12th. Geocoins will be awarded at the event to the first 100 teams to find 15 GeoTrail caches and return their GeoTrail page. Coins will be mailed to teams unable to attended, after September 12th.
