Geocache Description:

Bison tube with log only. Bring a pen.  Replace EXACTLY and gently where found please.

Once there was a barren land in New Orleans East.  Then there was a grand amusement park.  Along came a Category 4 hurricane and massive flooding the likes of which this area had never seen.  That brings us to what we have today.  The ghost town that was Jazzland then Six Flags amusement park.  Nothing here but the rusted remnants of what used to be a great time.

Many people have sneaked in at night making very spooky videos.  The cops show up soon after.  Perhaps this park will rise again with roller coasters and water rides.  Until then, R.I.P. Jazzland.

The park itself is CLOSED AND there is NO TRESPASSING.  This cache is well outside of the restricted area, but one of the entrance gates can be seen here.  Note the letters that are left on the sign.
