Way Down Yonder on the Chattahoochee Traditional Cache
Martin FFG: I don't want to take any chances of someone going to all the trouble to find this one and it not be there. Maybe we'll get around to doing some more of these in the near future!

Yes Sir, we've been talking about putting some geocaches on the "Hooch" for quite some time now, and have just never gotten around to doing something. Well now we've had a reason to get moving, and we didn't waste the trip. We just had to place another cache along this part of the river. Maybe one day we will have a nice string of them from here down to the town of Franklin! They tell me that it takes about six hours to float down from the ferry ramp coordinates to the take out at Franklin Park (give or take a little based on what type of floating device you are using). You are looking for a cammo covered pill bottle with a waterproof match container inside. Please be careful when you open the first container so that you don't drop the inner one. Inside that you will find your log to sign. The cache is hidden among the roots on the bank and the coordinates are really good. In summer, you will definitely want to beat the bush a little with your paddle to make sure there are no sunbathers (the slithering kind).
