Travel to GZ along the coastal pathway from Islington bay wharf and feel like you have stepped back in time to old Auckland. Once a thriving local community of Bach owners together with a school house and many quaint old style kiwi baches. Some are still standing today even after permits were not renewed in the 1970s and 1980s.
You may think from afar this place doesn't offer much but you will be surprised by the history.
The cache is a small sistema container with black camo. Inside we placed a logbook and pencil, fishing lure (please leave with cache - just for viewing), and other toys and swappables. Enjoy.
