PARKING!!!!! There is very little parking between caches 1-3 - so...feel free to park in our car park, but please drop us a message FIRST so that we know you are coming and can organise our cars so we don't get blocked in - also Please Shut The Gate, coz of the geohounds Ruby and Juno, Spike himself sadly passed away last year :-(
This is a 4.5 mile walk from Nantyr to the tiny village of Llanarmon DC with it's two lovely pubs! It follows a bridleway the whole way and the caches are all close to the track.
You will be walking through a farming area with lots of sheep and pheasants - please be a considerate cacher and keep Geohounds on leads.
This is NOT suitable for driving - even if you have a 4x4!!!!!
You may wish to double up with friends and persuade them to bring a second car....this way you can leave a car at each end to avoid having to retrace your steps.
If you choose to walk both ways, we suggest you do caches 1-13 on the way to the pub, then 20-14 on the return journey, as you will need to stop for a breather every 200 yards caching or not as you toil up 'Heartbreak Hill'!
