Pit Stop and Harbour View (Upper Hutt) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GSEL: I stopped by here twice today to look for this one. It was not in the original place and not sure where its moved to. I did search around a few places. But the original view is now gone (too much gorse and pine tree growth). So with cache no longer obvious and the original reason for the cache gone I am archiving it.

Geocache Description:

A cache designed to let you catch your breath and take in the scenery before you carry on uphill to the Leprechaun cache. A nice easy traditional. Cache is a camoed MM container with logbook and pencil.

Whatever way you got here (zig-zag or Valley View Road) this has been a slog uphill. This cache is 339 m asl. So stop, pause, sign the log, take in the sea views then press on to your final destination. Be very aware of logging trucks. The warning sign says stay off this road from 4am to 5pm Mon-Fri. I suggest you only come up here on weekends or public holidays.
