Radovan Nikšić (1920 – 1987), bio je hrvatski arhitekt. Jedan je od vodećih arhitekata poslijeratnog razdoblja hrvatske moderne arhitekture. Projektirao je i izvodio stambene i javne objekte, a između ostalog i veći broj škola u Zagrebu (sveukupno devet, a između ostalog i MIOC, te OŠ „Dr. Ante Starčevića“ u Dubravi).
Cache Vas je doveo pred njegovo najznačajnije djelo (u biti s njegove straženje strane), koje je projektirao zajedno s arh. Ninoslavom Kučanom i Bernardom Bernardijem (interijer).
Zgrada bivšeg RANS Moša Pijade predstavlja vrhunac modernističke arhitekture 1950-ih, u skladu s arhitektonsko-urbanističkim izričajem monumentalnog modernizma, kakvog možemo vidjeti duž cijele Vukovarske ulice, planirane prema principima CIAM-a.
Nikšićeva zgrada jedno je od rijetkih arhitektonskih ostvarenja u cijeloj regiji, kod kojeg je očigledan utjecaj neoplasticističkih (De Stijl) ideja, postulata i strategija.
Ova reprezentativna građevina, dovršena 1961 godine, cjelovitog i preglednog funkcionalističkog prostornog koncepta i dosljedno modernističkog oblikovnog govora, s naglašenom kvalitetom dizajna opreme (Bernardi), izuzetno je ostvarenje uvršteno u antologiju hrvatske arhitekture 1945-85. i nagrađeno Nagradom Grada Zagreba.

Radovan Nikšić (1920 – 1987), was most certainly one of the leading post WW2 architects in Croatia, with numerous projects of residential and public buildings.
This cache is placed on the back side of his most important project, low rise public building, designed together with Ninoslav Kučan and Bernardo Bernadi (interieur).
Building is a highlight of 1950's modern architecture, and it perfectly fits in a CIAM influenced Vukovarska street environment.
Nikšić's masterpiece is also one of the rare designs in whole region that is strongly influenced by DeStijl neoplasticistic ideas.This representative building was finished in 1961 and it's been listed in an "Anthology of Croatian architecture".
Nikšić's building is placed in Vukovarska ulica which is representative for croatian architecture of 1950's. There are many important buildings from that period, designed by famous architects as Šegvić, Rašica, Geršić, Galić, Ostrogović or Fabris.
