Geocache Description:

April 19, 2015 was the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Medina County Park District.

From the time that it accepted the donation of its first 33 acres, the park district has grown to more than 6,000 acres encompassing 14 parks.  There are another 6 sites that are currently in transition.

Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park (established in 2013) is the newest park in the Medina County Park District.

Bring the kids!  Bring your dog!  Bring your fishing gear!  There is a fabulous inclusive playground, dog parks for both small and large dogs, and a catch-and-release fishing pond, as well as a nice paved walking trail.

Bring your GPS!  There are now 4 geocaches to find here too!

This geocache is hidden just off of the paved trail. Please be stealthy, as this can be a very busy park when the weather is nice.

You are looking for a peanut butter jar that is covered in camouflage duct tape.  Bring a pen with you to sign the log, and be sure to cover the container with natural camouflage when you are finished.

Park hours are dawn to dusk only.  No night caching.

This geocache has been placed with the permission of the Medina County Parks.  Permit #079.
