This is an interesting area with a small forest, adjacent river for a water source, as well as a resturant and grocery store next door. For years it has been a favorite location for homeless people, making it a bit sketchy for cache placements. Recently, however, this forested area has been cleared of all underbrush and camps making it safer for cache placements. A good approach would be to walk around the perimeter and this will put you reasonably close to the GZ. I, however, enjoyed the jaunt through the woods to the location, its your choice too.
