FIFA 2015 - COLOMBIA Traditional Cache

This is a series of caches in and around the playing fields of Saskatoon to commemorate FIFA 2015 which is being played in six Canadian cities in June and July.  This is the first time that a senior World Cup has been hosted in Canada and we hope to cheer our women to the gold!

Colombians take their soccer seriously.  So seriously in fact, that a member of the 1994 men’s World Cup team was murdered upon his return to the country, supposedly for being responsible for the goal that put them out of the tournament! The members of Las Cafeteras hope to avoid that fate having kept the best defensive record in South American qualifying. They open their tournament against Mexico in Moncton on June 12
