The cache is beside a busy ice highway watching thousands of trucks who annually restock the nearby diamond mines. Plan to take extra fuel, warm clothing, safety gear, with the possibility to be out overnight. Always let someone know your plan because there is no guarantee of other motorists. Also stop at the checkpoint at the south end of Gordon Lake.
The cache is located on a small island within the last few kilometers of the tree line. It is a 9"x6"x4" plastic container hidden to be winter friendly. Accessible in winter only. A summer visit would be possible only by float plane or one heck of a long paddle/portage. Good luck!
