Geocache Description:

Number 227 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box. The only rule is that they have to be able to be photographed together, and the phone boxes have to be red.

Overlooking the valley between Newark Park and Ozleworth Manor, from here you can see the village stocks (and cache) well worth investigating.

Sadly, even in this beautiful part of the north western Cotswolds... vandals still exist! The phone box has seen better days.

Imagine when this phone box was the only one for the few surrounding houses!

Carrying on down the road, you will shortly arrive at a pull in and the start to the footpath/bridleway to Ozleworth Manor, tucked away in the valley with a beautiful church, one of our favorites, well worth the trip. There are other caches to find in the area, mystery, multi and trads too... so we hope you enjoy your visit.
