Geocache Description:

The church Micro series is intended to bring Geocachers to various churches all over the UK (and beyond). Some of these churches provide the backdrop of our communities history.

You are looking for a camouflaged micro hidden in a natural item. The published Co -ordinates are for parking . The cache is not hidden here.

You will need to answer a few questions with info found within the church grounds.

The current church which was built in 1754 stands on the site of an earlier slightly smaller medieval church. This church was falling into disrepair so Robert Vyner, a widower aged 73 decided to build a large country house and church to match. The house was demolished in 1874 but the church remains. The church has one bell, chimed by a wooden lever. It is inscribed ‘I am John’ and dates from 1300. In 1911 the church was re organised into the rather high church style of worship that you see today.

The church is usually open, please visit.

The cache is hidden at N53 14.ABC W000 14. DEF
