A chance for those of us that have ANZC Day/weekend commitments to do our bit for the environment, get a smiley and a souvenir!
Due to the many commemorative occasions over this busy weekend I've decided to put on a short, sweet CITO event for those committed elsewhere.
Planned for the riverside track down near the Wairau River on the Renwick side of the river.
There is a Traditional cache just down from here; GC2FK8T Wairau River Reserve.
Meet up at 1200 hours with empty rubbish bags to do a litter clear in the vicinity of the river bank until approx 1300 hours. I will dispose of any rubbish collected.
Bring your sense of humour and some elbow grease, whatever we clear will make a difference.
