One of a series of easy caches located in cemeteries along the eastern side of Montana and western side of North Dakota. The caches are an attempt to give insight to the ancestry of those that settled in the area. The caches are away from any memorial markers. Please be respectful of the sites.
While walking amongst the markers and reading the Surnames, I was leaning towards Poland as a possible ancestral lineage until I asked a Belfield local who has a last name very close to one at the site. He said that the area was homesteaded by Ukrainians.
