Manito Park is one of Spokane's first parks. While it no longer has all the festive park features, it is still a very busy park for walking dogs, weddings, beautiful flowers, even winter sledding and ice skating. There are many fun geocaches here, but this corner was recently vacated.
The Earth revolves around the Sun in approximately 365.242199 days. The Gregorian calendar has 365 days in one year. Leap Year add a day on February 29 nearly every 4 years, so we don't lose almost six hours off our calendar every year. 2016 is the 4th Leap Year since Geocaching began.
I decided to place 29 caches in Spokane's South Hill to celebrate Leap Year 2016. I hope you enjoy the series!
