1st Annual East Texas Camping Event Event Cache

The trees have become green again, and so has a lot of the grass.  The heaviest of pollen is gone, and there's still a coolness in the air at times, so it seems like a perfect time to go camping!!

This event will be on 04/25/2015 from 3:00pm until 4:30pm.  This is simply a no-frills gathering, as we're planning on relaxing and sitting around sharing geocaching stories, so please bring your lawn chairs.  There's a play area nearby for the kiddos, and there's a couple of piers that you can fish from. Plenty of parking is also available.  "L" and I will be camping at this State Park beginning on the evening of Thursday, 04/23/2015 until Sunday, 04/26/2015.  At the time we submitted this event, there were approximately 50 campsites remaining available in the park, so if you want to camp too please visit the park's website and reserve a spot (additional camping fees apply).

NOTE:   There is a $3 entrance fee per person 13 and older (12 and under get in free). There is no per person fee if you have a current Texas State Park pass.
