Preston is covered in back alleys, usually paved with blue stone bricks. This particular alley provides a shortcut for the kids from Erin St to get to their local school at Bell primary, so many houses have gates to the alley for this.
As this alley is at the back of houses, please only seek the cache during daylight hours as torches will be intrusive to residents after sunset. The geocache is hidden in a small black metal container and contains log book only. No pen. You do not need to bend, move or disrupt anything to find the geocache. It is in plain site, if you're looking in the right direction.
Cars may have trouble getting in & out of alley, so best to walk!
