The topic for April is CITO - what is a CITO and how to organise one? If you've ever or never been to one, come along and learn or tell!
CITO (Cache In Trash Out) Weekend is April 24–27, geocachers around the world will gather at events to clean up natural areas, plant trees or remove invasive species and earn a souvenir.

Hosts

For April we have two SOS events - on the Saturday we have SOS #4a in Ironbridge, hosted by Wild Goosey and on Sunday we are in Stoke-on-Trent, and hosted by Sharant (Sharon & Ant).
We will be here from 1pm until 4pm.

Our Venue

Come along to help tidy up the area, there is a selection of tasks with litter picking and cutting back vegetation. Why not join us from 1pm until 4pm?

Please bring along any gardening equipment that may help such as gloves, lopers, secateurs and tree saws. We will provide some gloves and litter pickers.

There are many caches locally that are on land managed by Stoke-on-Trent City Council and sadly there is a good deal of litter around.

There will be a souvenir issued from geocaching.com for attending the event, which I will add to the cache page for you to see when it has been announced.

Stoke or Stafford – SOS – a monthly series of events, each with a theme and designed to allow cachers to help each other. The events will be somewhere not too far from either Stoke or Stafford, or in between, and generally mid-week on different evenings to help ensure you can make some if not all of them. Need help? Others may do too – suggest a topic, propose a venue, or offer to be a host (hosts don’t have to know stuff – we have plenty of know-it-alls around here!)
