25. Small Copper Traditional Cache

The Butterflies series is a circular 6.5 mile walk starting and finishing at Tur Langton. Many of the butterflies named in the series can be seen in the countryside around Tur Langton.

The Small Copper is usually seen in ones and twos. Males are territorial, often choosing a piece of bare ground or a stone on which to bask and await passing females. They behave aggressively towards any passing insects, returning to the same spot when the chase is over.
