This cache commemorates the work of Eagle Scout Ryan D. of Troop 128 in the Pine Island District, who completed his Eagle Scout service project in December 2014. Ryan spent about five months surveying, mapping and placing 37 markers over the 155 acres of trails at Tree Tops Park. In addition, information boards were placed at each entrance of the trail to make residents aware of where they are in case of an emergency. Over 500 hours was dedicated to the project.
In 2014: 51,820 young men became Eagle Scouts. The average service hours per project is 156.84 hours. That is a combined number of 8,127,449 selfless service hours to their communities.
