OK, so it not a disconnect, it's a bug hotel. A quick park and grab that will hopefully will be a secure travel bug drop. USE THIS CODE FOR THE LOCK --BEER--
This cache is available in winter but will require walking in the snow. To operate the lock, set the code to BEER and give the body a little push against the shackle and then pull open. To close lock, scramble the code and push body against shackle. There are pencils at the cache, but BYOP just in case.
There used to be a travel bug hotel at the bottom of Blackcomb mountain and another cache near here that was frequently used as well. Unfortunately the one at Blackcomb continually had TB's stolen and the cache that was here was taken as well. Recently I picked up some travel bugs in Vancouver and discovered no good cache in Whistler to place them, so another local cacher and I decided to put in this geocache that hopefully will be a little more safe, but still easy to get to. We picked this spot because it is easy to get to off the highway and public transport, but should be out of the way enough that non cachers will not bump into it, or see cachers accessing the cache.
*You may need to close the door hard to get it so you can put the lock back on.*
