The bike trail southwest of Platteville runs along highway 151 for about two miles. As you bike or walk the trail you can see to the east Belmont Mound 9 miles away and Platteville Mound 6-½ miles away. Toward the west end, Sinsinawa Mound is 12 miles to the south, and a high mound in Iowa is 25 miles to the west north west.
