Rablander Waalweg

Waale sind in Trockengebieten die Voraussetzung für die Landwirtschaft. Sie sind deshalb so alt wie die Besiedlung. Der Name stammt vom keltischen "bual" bzw. romanischen "aquale". Im Vinschgau und angrenzenden Burggrafenamt haben sich noch die meisten Waale erhalten. Der Rablander Waal wird oberhalb des Winklerhofes vom Zielbach abgeleitet und fließt zuerst als Bach bis zur alten Rablander Mühle wo er dann neben einem schönen Weg eben dahin fließt. Er mündet schließlich ober dem Gasthof Happichler in den Schindelbach. Der Waalweg selbst ist ca. 800 m lang, verläuft schattig.

Nelle zone aride i tradizionali canali di irrigazione fecero la loro comparsa con i primi insediamenti umani. La parola tedesca Waal deriva dal celtico "bual" o dal latino "aquale". Questo artico sistema di canali irrigui si è conservato ancora nella Val Venosta e nel vicino Burgraviato. Il "Rablander Waal" è derivato dal "Zielbach" sopra il maso Winkler e primo scorre come un fiume fino al vecchio mulino di Rablà dove poi continua accanto a un bel sentiero. Alla fine finisce sopra la locanda Happichler nel canale di irrigazione Schindelbach. Der sé è lungo circa 800 metri, corre ombreggiato.

Whales are in drylands prerequisite for agriculture. Therefore, they are as old as the settlement. The name comes from the Celtic "Bual" and Latin "aquale". In the valley of Vinschgau and adjoining Burggrafenamt most whales have been preserved. The Rablander Waal is derived from the "Zielbach" above the Winkler and first flows as a river to the old mill ob Rabland where he flows next to a beautiful path. He finally ends above the Happichler in the Schindelbach. The irrigation channel itself is about 800 m long, runs shady.
