Geocache Description:

"Oh what a View" is a series designed to take you to some of the most scenic places along Oakville's Lakefront and place a cache easy enough for everyone to find. No matter what the season or time of day, the beautiful lake provides us with amazing scenery that makes us want to say: "Oh What a View! I hope you all enjoy this series and find a new favourite spot to just sit and admire the water. 


This is a simple 3 stage multi that will take about 15-20 minutes. Parking is at the lot on the end of Francis Street. If you are walking, you can take the staircase from Lakeshore Road (Larry Cain trail sign) or the staircase from Burnet Road.

Oakville is an area rich in heritage and history, and this multi will help you learn a little bit about how this harbour area came to be. At the posted coords is a sign with information about the history of this area. Answer the questions below to get the coordinates for the second stage. The second stage is located at:

W 079° D0.ACC
