Geocache Description:

Rose Ness Gloup

This cache is a 15 ml screw top container with logbook and pencil.

EXTREME CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN GOING NEAR THE CLIFFS

This is a coastal walk cache on the route to Rose Ness Lighthouse and Beacon. With a few waypoint caches along the way. The original cache for this part of the walk was the ‘Cliff Seat’. This is a another large flat stone which bares a resemblance to the one at Tur Geo and makes an excellent seat to view the Geo from. Is it a coincidence or have these stones been placed here!! Twins!! However it proved difficult to make the cache storm proof. So it is now a waypoint and the cache moved to the Gloup AKA. Hole of the Ness.
