Welcome to Lake to Lake Trail. A quick and easy find, with a unique twist. Had to move the cache. Replaced it 9 times in the last two years, and it's been there since 2015. Last replacement didn't even last 3 weeks, so let's try a new place. Keep reading for the new Twist on location.
After reaching the first coordinates, the Welcome Sign, continue a short way down the paved trail to the wooden bridge. On the inside of the top rail of the wooden bridge search to find the cache, a small hanging bison tube container. It’s on the same side as, and as close to the info sign about the park as I could get it. It’s easy to reach even if you are in a wheelchair. (Just thinking about my brother, a Vietnam Vet in a wheelchair). What a beautiful extensive system of nature preserves right at our front door. We need to take more advantage of this great resource and that is what this cache is all about. Helping first timers and people with special needs a chance to cache. All my caches are wheelchair accessible and great for kids and first timers. A great way to start caching.
