This is a magnetic nano located in Chinbrook Meadows. Grove Park Station is nearby. You will need your own pen. Please return the cache exactly as found.
Chinbrook Meadows was previously grazing meadow before being opened as a leisure area in 1929. The area was renovated in 2002-3 and now includes a pavilion, cricket pitch and various other facilities with trees planted and new paths. Archbishop Desmond Tutu was Honorary curate at St Augustine's church and lived in Grove Park from 1972-75. A Peace Garden, in his honour, was opened on 14th July 2009, and is worth a visit. The Meadows are open from 10am in summer and 8am in winter, and close 30 mins before dusk. There are lots of dog-walkers around and so there is a need to be stealthy as they can appear quickly and quietly.
