Geocache Description:

This multistaged cache uses a series of pictures as clues to guide you to various historic or unique places in the beautiful city of Sequim.

You don't need to go inside of any of the buildings to get the clues. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO YELLOW1961 and DWT for a quick and adventurous TFT!!!!!!!!

Start at the posted coordinates (parking lot) and use the pictures in the gallery to find the different sites.  At each site you will find numbers that will give you the coordinates of the final cache site.  It is a small lock-n-lock with room for swag and TBs. There is an unactivated TB Dogtag for the FTF.

The Final is located at:   N48 0A.BCD   W123 0E.FGH

The picture clues are all located within a two city block area.  Following them in order is your best bet. (It will bring you right back to the parking coordinates) Each successive clue is within 200 or 300 feet and is visible from a distance.

The PICTURE CLUES are listed at the bottom of this page or go to the Gallery

CLUE #1:    When you have found this clock see how many purple bicycles are parked outside it.   This is coordinate A

CLUE #2:     Sequim Opera House.  Look close and find out what year the Opera was ESTABLISHED and what year the building was BUILT.    Subtract the smaller number from the larger and that will be H

CLUE#3:     Site of the original Bank of Sequim.  The bank was robbed in the 1960s.    Take a seat and look around.  How many Bicycles or Skateboards are allowed to be used in this park at any one time?   This is  D.

CLUE#4:     This is an older unique building.   What is the first.....  no I mean the last.......eeerrrrr I mean the middle number in the address?  That will be  F.

CLUE #5:    City of Sequim original Town Hall.  It was later used as the Public Works Office/Police station.  I worked out of this building in the 80s and 90s.  It was located on Cedar st. at that time.  What year was it moved to it's present location.   The last number in this year is  B.

CLUE #6     Original St Lukes Episcopal Church.  What is the 3rd digit in the date that it was built?   That is C.

CLUE #7     This gas station was here way before I moved to Sequim in 1970.  It's maybe from the 50s or older not sure.  The first digit of it's name is G. BECAUSE THE SIGN IS NO LONGER THERE I WILL GIVE YOU THIS ONE UNTIL I CAN MAKE A CHANGE G = 7

CLUE #8    This building was the old Post Office for Sequim.  What was the first year this building was used as the Post Office.  The 3rd digit of this year is  E. All clues can be found with out going into the buildings
