in our disclaimer.
The Council Minutes of 24th March 1984 recorded a letter asking that a corner be set aside in a public park for the provision of a Pets Cemetery. One of the tombstones erected was for Pop an Alsation who saved many lives in Italy during the second World War. He died in January 1949. On 29th May 1954 a deer fawn called Bambi was buried in the Cemetery. Please take some time to look around all the headstones. There are some very interesting ones.
The unusual cache has been lost for the moment but please replace the substitute where found. Please take care you do not disturb any of the headstones, some of which have been there many, many years
