This is the first cache that my son CQ has created; on his first spring break trip to Moab. We are going to use this cache to help him learn about geography. When you log this cache we would appreciate it if you would tell us where you are from and something interesting about the town you live in. We plan to map it out to in his room. Disappointed with the "treasures" (as he calls them) in a lot of the caches in the area, we made sure to stock this one with lots of goodies.
If you look west from the cache you will see a lone cottonwood tree (located behind a smaller clump of them) that used to be one of my favorite camping spots in the Moab area. But like many spots around the Moab area, it has been closed to camping due to the increased popularity of the area. We are loving the area to death. Please be sensitive to the area as you go to and from the cache. Try to stay on durable areas such as washes and rocks. Take another path away from the cache then how you came in.
