Geocache Description:

The geocache is situated in the woody section of the park. Take care while searching as dog walkers abound here but it is off the main path so you should be able to find it without attracting too much muggle attention. This is my first geocache which hopefully you all enjoy. The cache is big enough to fit some geocoins and trinkets.

 

Clarence Park is laid out in two sections. The western section is considerably the larger where the geocache is located and is separated from the eastern section by Walliscote Road. The eastern section is a large trapezoidal area of flat open lawn, with an encircling pathway. The western section of the park is laid out as a more formal park with mature trees, flower beds, lawn areas and a very pleasant fish pond with fountain. There is a children's play area near the western edge which my son enjoys visiting. It is small but well maintained and he always excitedly clambers all over it. You often see people walking their dogs or taking their children out for a stroll round the park. I think the ever changing and well stocked flower beds make this park a beautiful place to visit and the path ways are great for teaching your children how to bike.
