Geocache Description:

The cache has been placed along the Corlarach Loop. Corlarach means 'common pasture' – a place where local folk used to graze their cattle and sheep. Those animals are gone, but you might be lucky enough to see grouse, roe deer and red deer, and the many birds of prey which thrive here today.

I have named this cache Gellis Duncan after a character in Outlander. Geillis/Geilie Duncan—The wife of the procurator fiscal is a time-traveler from the 1960s. She believes that she is a witch and has knowledge of herbs and plants. She is pregnant with Dougal MacKenzie’s child when she is imprisoned for witchcraft. Her pregnancy wins her a brief reprieve on her death sentence. She murders her husband, Arthur Duncan. She tricks Claire several different times. She is played by Lotte Verbeek. This is a British-American television drama series based on the historical time travel Outlander series of novels by Diana Gabaldon. The cache has been placed with the kind permission of the Forestry Commission. The cache is a jar in black bag. Please ensure bag is properly sealed as this helps keep the bugs out, thank you. The cache has been placed along the Corlarach loop with the kind permission of the Forestry Commission.
