The cache has been placed along the Corlarach Loop. Corlarach means 'common pasture' – a place where local folk used to graze their cattle and sheep. Those animals are gone, but you might be lucky enough to see grouse, roe deer and red deer, and the many birds of prey which thrive here today.
I have named this cache Laoghaire MacKenzie after a character in Outlander. Laoghaire ostensibly falls in love with the strapping young Jamie when he takes her place in a public beating. When Jamie weds Claire, Laoghaire not only places an ill-wish under Claire's pillow, but sends her to meet Geillis Duncanjust as the fiscal's wife is about to be tried for witchcraft; consequently, Claire gets dragged into the proceedings as well and is almost killed. This is a British-American television drama series based on the historical time travel Outlander series of novels by Diana Gabaldon. The cache has been placed with the kind permission of the Forestry Commission. The cache is a jar in a black bag. Well done to 3+4 cache hunters on first to find.
