On an amazing starry summer evening the Stormcatcher's headed out for a night walk as they so often do. The stars were amazing and by coincidence they stumbled on a perfect location for a cache. Just as everything was placed and they were about to take an average the GPS mysteriously failed. By shear chance Mr Stormcatcher noticed the local time on the GPS was exactly 23:28 and 59.93 seconds, AEDT!
At the same moment Miss Stormcatcher was looking up at a very bright star high in the southern sky, she recognised it was in the constellation of Carina, but had forgotten the name of the star. While Mr Stormcatcher was cursing at the GPS she watched the star's movement closely and noticed it had reached its highest point in the sky. Using a special tool she was able to accurately measure the altitude of this star at 72.464389 degrees above the horizon.
Keen to get this cache published before the location was snapped up by other keen Geocacher's they realised that there was enough information to work out their position back at Stormcatcher HQ.
Now can you work out the final location so you can find the Stormcatcher's hidden cache?
To avoid complications here is some information that was found lying around Stormcatcher HQ...
