If you're in Blenheim, what do Jean Wilson, the Blue Door Charitable Trust and the Marlborough District Council (MDC) have in common?
They all contribute funds to build structures to hide geocaches in...
Blenheim has had a regular bus service for a couple of years now, (maybe more) and when it first started there were no bus shelters for users of the service to protect themselves from the rain or the sun. Over the intervening years, Jean Wilson and the Blue Door Charitable Trust have provided funding to build a series of bus shelters on the two routes which have 37 stops in total. The MDC has also come to the party and budgets funding each year to build more shelters as well.
The cache is located at one of these shelters which is the latest, but not the last, in a series of bus shelter caches in or around Blenheim.
There are no clues with this one, if you have done a Blenheim bus shelter cache, you will know there are not a lot of places you can hide a cache and you'll have a good idea where to look on this one. If this is your first Blenheim bus shelter cache, then you might struggle, but once found it will make the others easy.
The other Blenheim bus shelter caches, in order of listing are:
Gimme Shelter (GC5M2FB)
Weekend Leave (GC5M8PD)
Gimme Shelter II (GC5MA2Z)
That Song by ABBA (GC5N9PC)
Take Shelter (GC5NVMB)
And now there is Just Another Bus Shelter Cache.
At time of listing there is just room for the log and a pencil and the Seagnoid may be able to fit a geocoin but not a lot else.
