Nanteos Gamekeeper's Rest Traditional Cache

This cache is located in between the A485 Llanilar road & A487 Rhydyfelin road, near Aberystwyth

A small geocache was located at the entrance of Bryn Du, but has been muggled well and truly. But still on a clear day the view of the Cambrian Mountains can be seen. 

This area of land was once part of the Nanteos Estate, the Powells of Nanteos owned over 31.000 acres at their peak of running the estate in the 1800s

One of the Gamekeeper's of Nanteos lived in Bryn Du, which is located down this trackway. They had many gamekeeper on there massive esate, they played an important part of keeping the poachers at bay.
