The loop will take you on a walk through Soham, following the course of the river. The walk is a little over a mile and the terrain whilst not challenging does involve stiles and gates which may make it unsuitable for all. During the summer months you will encounter animals grazing so please ensure gates are firmly secured behind you and dogs are kept on leads.
There is roadside parking right next to Lofty's Loop #1
This cache is located along the riverside at a spot where we have previously spotted a Kingfisher. If you visit in the evening you are also very likely to see Bats feeding along the river.
