The loop will take you on a walk through Soham, following the course of the river. The walk is a little over a mile and the terrain whilst not challenging does involve stiles and gates which may make it unsuitable for all. During the summer months you will encounter animals grazing so please ensure gates are firmly secured behind you and dogs are kept on leads.
There is roadside parking right next to Lofty's Loop #1
Walking alongside the River Snail, the river follows its course through Soham, where further into town it becomes the Soham Lode before finally feeding into The Great Ouse near Barway.
The cache is hidden within our Daughter's favourite tree which has always been known in our family as the Heavenly Tree.
