Playpark Plunder: Mote Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

outwiththefamily: It had a good run but I checked at half term and it definitely wasn't there. Unfortunately there were empty crisp packets and water bottles on the logs nearby so am assuming those people disturbed/destroyed it :(

Geocache Description:

Part of a short series of simple, traditional caches hidden within easy reach of children‘s play parks in the Medway/Maidstone area.

As a family, we love Mote Park. We must have done a complete circuit round the lake dozens of times. We‘ve fed the ducks, ridden the trains (on a Sunday pm), hired a boat, played in the large and small play parks. However it was only while looking for the final stage of the multi-cache here that we accidentally discovered the Natural Play Area! It‘s great for children who love climbing and sliding, and a lot quieter than the big park. So, I couldn‘t resist hiding this nearby in honour of the find. For those cachers without children, the cache is just off a well-trodden walkers‘ path and it is well out of sight of the play park. For those who do want to visit it, it‘s only about 100m away down the path and through the trees to get there.

You‘re looking for a clip-top plastic box inside a velcro-sealed camouflage bag. The cache contains a pencil to sign the log. Please note this is not intended to be a swappable item :)
