Stellasboys: Very sad, this was my first hide. After 8 years, 449 logs and now 4 mugglings I have run out of containers and magnets to replace it. Bunjil says I have to archive after 4 weeks but it’s going to take me much longer than that to replace this time, so I guess I have to send it to geocache heaven

Geocache Description:

Enjoy the view of Melbourne. Please respect the privacy of the nearby houses. This geocache has a vertical dimension uncertainty, for which your GPS won't help. Please replace no lower than you found it.

On the third cache iteration. This one doesn’t stick as well as previous. Please try to reattach in a way unlikely to fall. May need a few goes at orienting best.

The High St ramp was constructed in the late 1880's to extend High St from Westgarth safely up the Northcote escarpment: a surprisingly steep hill for this area. The ramp permitted the extension of the cable tram deep into Northcote that had previously terminated at Merri Creek. This tram led to High St and Northcote rapidly developing. The original bluestone retaining wall is still holding strong after 120 years.
