We all know about Rooikappie (Little Red Riding Hood) from long ago. But now 2015 THAT Rooikappie is a Ouma called, Ouma Rooikappie and she lives in a Castle inside Stainbank Nature Reserve.
And you know what? She has a grand daughter also called Rooikappie. Very modern but she is also always dressed in red that is why the people of Yellowwoodpark are calling her Rooikappie.
Now this is just to tell you about Ouma Rooikappie's granddaughter who lives near Stainbank nature reserve.
One day while she was watching TV, she got an SMS from her grandmother who wanted her to get her some Pizza. Cool that is no problem it is always fun visiting Ouma ... she grabbed her bike and off she went.
Stainbank is a very interesting reserve where some people called "geocachers" hide treasures in secret places for others to find.
Whenever she Rooikappie visits her ouma she likes to check on these treasures, also called caches to see if the monkeys or muggles did not take them out.There are many treasures to check on, more than 30 and its a long walk but she loves to hear the birds sing and spot the animals and various birds along the way. Sometimes she even sees some geocachers looking for caches. They all know her and because she knows Stainbank so well they are very happy when they see her to help them looking for treasures.
Her biggest treat is when her cellphone goes Piep piep to tell her a new Treasure has been hidden. This is like a mad race because everybody always want to be the first to find it FTF
There are different trails and they are all nicely marked so you wont get lost.
Keep your eyes pealed, if you look carefully you might spot "Rooikappie" on one of the trails. No bad wolfs around !!!!!
