| "The history of a battle, is not unlike the history of a ball. Some individuals may recollect all the little events of which the great result is the battle won or lost, but no individual can recollect the order in which, or the exact moment at which, they occurred, which makes all the difference as to their value or importance", the Duke of Wellington in a letter dated 8th August 1815. |
At the time of the Battle of Waterloo, the camera had not been invented, and the only way of visualising what happened was through paintings, of which there are many examples. It is an interesting observation of how significant the battle was, to realise many of these pictures were painted long after the event itself!
From the snapshots below, identify suitable values to create the final co-ordinates.
Assume N51 2x.xxx W000 4y.yyy, where
x.xxx = [ A * (B+E+F) -C -D ] /1000
y.yyy = [ C * (B+ D*E -A) ] /1000

Additional Notes
Terrain: I first visited the area in April, and the ground was still quite muddy in places, however just a few weeks later, and the ground was rock hard with the nettles above waist height. I do not recommend shorts for a couple of the caches at this time of year!
