Treehugger Traditional Cache

You will not have to climb this tree but after fetching the cache container you will feel like the tree hugged you. 

This geocache is dedicated to my good friend Julia Butterfly Hill who in the late 90's climbed to the top of a 1500 year old redwood tree named "Luna" to prevent a logging company from cutting it down.  Julia stayed at the top of the 180 foot tree for 738 days until the company agreed to not cut it and surrounding trees down.  A few years ago Julia took me on a one hour hike into the Redwood forest to see Luna.  Pretty awesome experience.
