Храмът е строен две години – от 1905 г. до 1907 г., като през първата година е дълбано аязмото, върху което е построен храмът. Мястото е посочено от пророчица от Асеновград. Пет последователни години, точно когато дойде време за жътва, градушка е опустошавала всички посеви. Това е накарало хората от селото да потърсят помощ от пророчицата от Асеновград- Кортеза. Тя е посочила мястото, което е само камъни и челия на висок връх на 3 км. от с. Сираково, област Хасково. Казала е на хората, че трябва да копаят в камъка докато излезе вода и над водата да построят храма на Св. Пр. Илия. След построяването на храма градушките спрели.
Самият храм е строен замо от камъни, дори християнският кръст, който е стоял над олтара е издялан от камък. По време на социализма храмът е изоставен и разрушен, а аязмото е затрупано с камъни и пръст. Така е било до 2007г. В с. Сираково живеят само християни, които решават да се възстанови храма и чрез община Минерални бани се отпускат 12 000 лева за изграждането му. През 2008 г. с помощта на спонсори се измазва и изографисва, а аязмото се почиства и се подменя тръбата от него по чешмата, в която тече излишната вода от аязмото.
Християнският кръст в близост до храма е висок 11 м. и е с метална конструкция, облечен в неръждаема ламарина. Храмът и кръстът са осветени на 20.07.2009 г. Всяка година на тази дата, когато е храмовият празник на Св. Пр. Илия, се коли курбан и в местността се събират хора с различни заболявания, след което намират облекчение.
От източната част на християнския кръст се намира и гробът на Св. Пр. Илия, който е маркиран с два големи камъка.

The original temple was built within two years - from 1905 to 1907. In the first year the holy spring, on which the temple was later built, was dug out The location was indicated by the Asenovgrad's prophetess. Five consecutive years, just before to harvest, hail devastated all crops. This had led people from the village to seek help from the prophetess of Asenovgrad- Korteza. She indicated the place, just stones and cellist on the highest peak around, some 3 km. from Sirakovo village , Haskovo. She told the people that they had to dig into the stone until water came out and to build there a temple of the Holy. Prov. Elijah. After the construction of the temple the Hail stopped.
The temple was built of stone and , even the Christian cross, which stood above the altar was carved from stone. Under socialism the temple was abandoned and destroyed and the holy spring was littered with stones and earth. So it was until 2007. when Sirakovo Christians decided to rebuild the temple and with help from sponsors the job was finished in 2008.
The Christian cross near the temple is 11 meters high. It has a metal frame covered in stainless steel and is illuminated during the night. The temple and the cross were consecrated on 20.07.2009.
East of the Christian cross is believed to be the tomb of St.. Prov. Elias, which is marked by two large stones.

To reach the cache you need to work out a bit more, and to climb to the plateau just below the Chal tepe top.
There you can see scattered stone remains of circular and linear fortifications.
Locals claimed that they were remains of border sentry station dating back to the Ottoman empire.
The top of Chal tepe is adorned by a lone tree and is a distinguished land mark.
There you can see one of the oldest triangulation pillars in the area circa 1931.
Expect a small 0.3 L box, log book, color pencils and two red hearts inside.
Plenty of spring water along the slow rising about 4.5 km dirt road to the top.
Adventure seekers, you may cut short and head directly to the top of Chal tepe , but be prepared for 40 deg steep sections.
