Last February kctrumpet and S*W*A*G hosted the Yuma "Can You Hear Me Now?" flash mob event in Arizona. We're paying tribute by brining it to the bay area! Tools you will need to bring:
- A cell phone or wrist watch with an alarm set to 10:05 am
- A banana
Like the event in Yuma, we will gather near, but not at, the coordinates. Let's keep it dispersed and act casual, try to keep your bananas hidden until the event begins.
- 10:00am - Start gathering at Plaza de César Chávez
- 10:05 am - Alarms will go on, turn them off, put the Banana to your ear, pretend it is a phone, and start talking or wander aimlessly as if your trying to get reception.
- 10:08 am - Music will start playing at the main stage area where we can put our "phones" down and gather
- 10:15 am - Group Photo
- 10:20 am - Meet at Bijan Bakery and Café, across the street from the park on Paseo de San Antonio
- 11:00 am - Event Ends
