L'Associazione “Università Europea degli Sport della Mente” (UESM) nota anche come "La Casa dei Giochi", ha sede a Milano, in via Sant’Uguzzone, 8.
La struttura ospita stabilmente oltre 45 associazioni e gruppi e conta più di tremila soci, il che la rende un esperimento ludico praticamente unico al mondo.
Si va dagli scacchi (con la più che centenaria Società Scacchistica Milanese) al bridge, a forme di intrattenimento molto più giovani, rappresentando numerosi tipi di gioco: di ruolo, dal vivo, con miniature storiche o fantascientifiche/fantasy, con carte collezionabili per arrivare all’ampio spettro dei giochi da tavolo e altro ancora.
Gli orari di apertura vanno dalle 14.00 alle 2.00, ma è soprattutto la sera che è facile trovare, sedute intorno ai numerosi tavoli, persone di varie età dedite ai giochi più disparati, dal Go alle carte, dai giochi in scatola alle battaglie tra miniature di elfi e orchi…
Lo stesso spazio ospita poi spesso tornei e dimostrazioni di varie discipline.
La cache è posta all’esterno della struttura, in un luogo sempre accessibile. Si sconsiglia però la ricerca durante la pausa pranzo, per la prossimità di un bar molto frequentato in tale orario. Di fronte all’associazione ha inoltre sede una scuola elementare: evitare gli orari di ingresso / uscita dei bambini.

The “Mental Sport European University” (UESM), also known as “The games’ House” is placed in Milano, in Sant’Uguzzone 8 Street.
In the structure are hosted more than 45 associations and groups, counting over 3.000 associated people, making this place a unique ludic experience in the world.
Among the others, the historical Milanese Chess Society (more than 120 years old), the Bridge and Go clubs, but also very young disciplines including modern Board games, role playing, collectionable cards players associations are represented in UESM. Official timing is from 14.00 to 2.00, but it’s usually in the evening that you can find most of the tables full of different aged people playing.
During the year, especially at weekends, tournaments and live demonstrations are held in the structure.
The cache is placed outside the building, in a place always accessible. It’s better to avoid the search at lunch time, due to the presence in the nearby of a cafè crowded during the offices’ pause. In front of the association is also placed a an elementary school: we recommend not to come in the times of entrance / going out of the children.
